Oh- and before you skimp on your flowers, cake, etc. Check out 'cheap flowers' on google. There is a florist in Philly who not only delivers for free but guarantees the lowest priced, most lovely flowers I have seen in a long time. He did my friend's whole wedding party for under $500. I beleive the name was Rose Bouquet. And, Passion for Petals has a great selection which is moderately priced. check them out! And before you start to skimp on the cake, remember a lot of places now included the cake in your package for free. Also, sometimes there is also chair covers, table cloths, and even centerpieces thrown in w/ the packages, as well. Make sure you ask tons of questions so you know what you will need and what is still included.

There are quite a few places I have found that may be more in your budget range- are you looking for a small hall or a more sophisticated venue??? There are tons of local venues such as VFWs, town halls, or ballrooms which are relatively inexpensive (compared to places like the Merion for ex).
